For Baby 👶
- Try to feed your baby right before the session at the studio so they are full and sleepy.
- Dress baby in a loose, easy-to-remove onesie (avoid tight socks or clothing that may leave marks).
- Bring extra diapers, wipes, and a pacifier (even if baby doesn’t normally take one — it can help soothe them during posing).
- If you have any props or toys you would like to include in the session, please do bring them! I love to incorporate them in session!
For Parents & Siblings 👩👩👧👦
- Please wear neutral tones (white, beige, cream, grey, soft pastels). These photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your baby. Shoot me a message if you need any assistance or reassurance!
- Avoid logos, busy patterns, or bright/neon colors.
- Simple, timeless outfits work best — think cozy knits, soft textures, and light layers.
- It’s best to avoid chunky jewelry and watches, which can be distracting elements.
- If siblings are joining, coordinate their outfits in similar neutral tones for a cohesive look.
- Bring snacks for siblings and make sure you and your partner are fed before arriving.
At the Studio 📸
- Sessions can last 2–3 hours to allow time for feeding, soothing, and posing.
- Relax and enjoy — I’ll guide you through everything.
- Don’t worry if baby needs breaks — this is completely normal and expected.
- The studio will be warm. Baby’s like being warm and having the heat cranked up (no matter the time of year), helps babe stay settled and sleepy.
- You are more than welcome to bring drinks and a change of clothes to change out of if you think you’ll get hot.
